Title Insurance

Title insurance is a form of indemnity insurance that protects the owner of a property or their financial lender from financial loss sustained from defects in a title to a property.  Despite all due diligence, not every title issue can be discovered through a review of the registry records.  In the event that a title issue was to arise – such as a fraudulent deed or an incorrectly discharged mortgage – an owner’s policy of title insurance would help protect the homebuyer’s investment.  DSG serves as a title agent for multiple national title insurance companies.
